Athena Thomasson-Bless

Pastor Athena was called as Associate Pastor in February 2020 fresh out of seminary. She serves as Director of Congregational Life and Director of Faith Formation. Her passions include biblical and theological literacy, social justice and advocacy, and proclaiming the good news of God’s love. She and her wife Sam live in Cary where she enjoys hiking, playing soccer, throwing pottery, gardening, and of course taking care of baby Walter.
