Christ the King Lutheran Church 2025 Stewardship Appeal
"For Some Have Never Heard"
($1,147/week)
At CTK, the key to excellence lies in nurturing vibrant ministries while embracing innovation. Our dedicated staff plays a crucial role in this mission, and to support their invaluable contributions, we plan to implement a 3% cost-of-living increase. Additionally, we aim to enhance our digital presence through targeted marketing and increased social media engagement, recognizing that 40% of our online worshippers are from outside our area. Together, these efforts will sustain our ministry and broaden our reach, allowing us to share our mission with even more people.
"That I Have Loved So Long"
($335/week)
Telling the story of CTK often begins with a tour of our beloved building. In 2025, we will turn our attention to the bathrooms outside the sanctuary, which are in need of renovation. We also plan to refresh the atrium and narthex areas in the coming year. These scheduled renovations and maintenance continue to improve our ministry and extend hospitality to our visitors.
"I Sing the New, New Song"
($330/week)
We’ve seen remarkable growth in youth participation, with larger gatherings at youth group, retreats, and Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO). Increased funding ensures that everyone can join in. We’re also excited to support new ministries, including the LGBTQ fellowship group and the Young Adults group. Additionally, we seek to strengthen faith formation by funding the anti-racism workshop in January and offering new teacher trainings.
"For Those Who Know It Best"
($408/week)
Worship is the cornerstone of our faith, and we’re committed to sharing our inspirational story in vibrant ways. In traditional worship, we plan to invite more guest musicians from diverse faith traditions and cultural backgrounds. Our contemporary services will be enhanced with upgraded lighting controls for a more immersive experience. Furthermore, we plan to increase our support for the NC Synod to ensure that worship flourishes throughout the state.
Invitation and Response
For six decades we have told the story in a particular way: with deep roots, innovative worship, proud traditions, Lutheran values, and vibrant faith. As we continue to tell the story of Jesus and his love to ALL people, we invite you to pray for Christ the King, its people, and for a bright future for the next 60 years of CTK.
On December 8 we will announce the current results of our pledges, including the number of commitments received and the faithful response of the congregation. We are excited about the opportunities to meet the needs of the church and community in the coming year. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, CTK is on the move. Now let's continue to learn, live, and tell the story of God's grace.
